Nestled in the captivating landscapes of the Amalfi Coast, Tramonti boasts some of Italy’s oldest vineyards, home to the majestic Tintore vines— a rare autochthonous grape variety dating back approximately 300 years. These monumental plants, preserved by the fertile soils rich in pumice and volcanic sands resting upon calcareous rocks, stand as open-air museums, narrating the rich history of winemaking in the region.
As you traverse the path through these venerable vineyards, you’ll encounter ungrafted vines, their rare and ultracentenarian presence marked by mighty and intricately interwoven branches. These living witnesses yield exceptional fruit with distinctive qualities, creating a unique wine experience.
In addition to this vinicultural journey, delight in a light lunch experience amidst this picturesque setting.
